Byron — Neighbors adjacent to a property on S Heart Mountain Street objected to a permit application from Alan Bair that would allow construction of a second residence close to existing homes. The objections were raised during the council’s permit-review discussion on July 8, and Council members listened as Zoning Administrator Richard Hawley read relevant zoning ordinance provisions.
The council also discussed a compliance-permit request from Rosanna Rusch. After hearing public concerns and the ordinance reading, the council took no final action on either permit and referred both cases to the zoning administrator for further review and determination.
No formal vote to deny or approve was taken at the meeting. Council members directed that the zoning administrator continue review and report back with findings or recommendations to a future council meeting.
