Planning commission elects Julie as chair and Bob Perry as vice chair; other routine business approved

After brief discussion and an initial procedural exchange about alternates and motions, the commission approved the minutes. Julie (S3) was nominated and elected chair by voice vote. A separate nomination for vice chair identified Bob Perry by name in the meeting record; that nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote. The commission then adjourned.
The meeting also included two substantive outcomes earlier in the agenda: the commission voted to recommend the PCC 10-8-1 building-height amendment to the City Council and voted to set a public hearing for the Alder Farms rezoning request. With those items forwarded, staff and commissioners thanked each other and staff were acknowledged for their work before the meeting adjourned.
