The Mannington Township Committee on July 2 passed Ordinance No. 18-06 and Ordinance No. 18-07 on first reading and set public hearings for Aug. 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
Ordinance No. 18-06 would vacate and extinguish the northern section of Brown Street. Ordinance No. 18-07 seeks to vacate two streets: listed as Woodnut Street (the ordinance text also notes the alternate spelling "Woodnutt Street") and Old Windmill Lane. The Committee recorded unanimous roll-call votes to place both ordinances on first reading and set the public hearings.
Because the ordinance text includes alternate spelling for one street, the Township should confirm the official street-name spelling and include any recorded easements or rights-of-way prior to final action at the public hearing.
