Shane Willis presented Premier Lakes’ one‑time work order and a revised Bentley Electric proposal that would add about 125 feet of electrical work and was estimated at roughly $10,755.
On the motion by Bob Schultz, seconded by Robert Twombly, the board voted 3–2 to authorize the temporary zombie box, with Mr. Schultz, Mr. Twombly and Mr. Merrill in favor and Mr. Mountford and Mr. Blumenthal dissenting. Board members discussed leaving the issue in the Fiscal Year 2026 budget for reconsideration of a full relocation.
The board’s action preserves service while deferring the higher‑cost relocation until the budget process can absorb or reprioritize the work. The motion records the board’s preference for the lower‑cost interim solution while keeping the relocation on the table for future budget discussions.
