Commission discusses Snow Roller shelter, town signage and notice-fee proposal; approves minutes

Chair Sam Swartz reported that the Historical Society is still evaluating options for a shelter to cover the Snow Roller on display at the intersection of Currier Road and Route 132; a kit option and metal roofing are preferred and R&B Services will do site work.
Commissioner Nina Gardner noted the library sign appears suitable for other Town buildings; Library Director Rebekka Mateyk will try to find who made the sign and share that information with Selectman Brandon Deacon.
Selectman Brandon Deacon moved to approve the draft minutes of March 17, 2026; Nina Gardner seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Audry Barriault asked whether the cost of publishing public-hearing notices in the Daily Sun could be charged to applicants and whether application instructions could be updated to reflect that; members were agreeable in principle and Selectman Deacon asked that the updated application instructions be sent to the Selectboard for a formal vote because it would create a new fee.
The meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m. The commission did not set a date for the next meeting.
