Mayor Dr. Mogas noted resident concerns about an overflow channel and described staff discussions that the channel as designed provides drainage benefits even though an outlet is not currently connected. Councilors asked questions and staff said design mitigations reduce negative impact to adjacent properties.
Next steps: the solicitor will draft the plat and development agreement legislation and return it for council consideration; staff will provide any further engineering clarifications requested by council or residents.
