The Village of Hebron Planning & Zoning Board on April 13 unanimously approved a preliminary site plan for the Capri Meatball Shop on Arrowhead Drive.
Economic & Community Development Director Brittany Misner told the board the application is at a preliminary phase and that "additional utility details will be on the final plan review meeting." Luke Baus of Project Construction clarified the design includes a pickup lane: "the preliminary plan includes a lane for the driveway, intended for customers to pull up and pick up sandwiches for convenience rather than a traditional drive-through operation like fast food chains." Misner said the project is zoned appropriately and currently requires no variances. The Fire Department reviewed the plan and supports moving forward.
Board member Scott Jacobs moved to approve the preliminary plan; Vice Chair Randy Wolf seconded. The motion passed by unanimous vote of members present (Chair Rick Stoner, Wolf and Jacobs); board member Steve Unwin and Mayor Valerie Mockus were absent.
The approval advances the project to a final plan review, where staff said utility and other technical details will be provided. The agenda packet listed the parcel number as 075-344754-00.143. No timeline for final review was provided at the meeting.
