Brunswick board adopts highway plan, adjusts deputy clerk pay and raises length-of-service threshold

All three resolutions were offered and seconded before the board voted. Resolutions 54 and 55 passed by voice vote with unanimous recorded support. Resolution 56 passed with one abstention (Councilman Valastairi) recorded at the meeting; no other dissent was recorded.
Supervisor Harrington said the measures were routine steps to manage town operations as Brunswick handles growth and ongoing infrastructure projects. The length‑of‑service amendment drew brief procedural discussion but no amendment to the motion; the change formalizes the town’s decision to recognize longer tenures before awarding that benefit.
