Big Bear City CSD awards pavement maintenance contract to S. Porter Inc.

The Big Bear City Community Services District Board on June 15 awarded the 2026 Miscellaneous Pavement Maintenance & Asphalt Repair Services contract to S. Porter Inc. Staff said three local vendors responded to the RFP and recommended S. Porter Inc. based on the evaluation. The contract carries a not-to-exceed amount of $220,000 and covers work on a project-by-project basis through Oct. 31, 2028; invoicing will be submitted per project.
General Manager Glenn Jacklin asked the Board to authorize contract execution; the Board voted unanimously to award the contract and authorized the General Manager to execute the agreement.
The District did not record additional public comment specific to the contract award in the meeting minutes.
