Residents raise backyard flooding concerns; council hears ambulance mutual-aid agreement

Public Works Director Jeff Ridder concurred that an engineering assessment would be appropriate and said he would arrange for an engineer to review the situation. No formal motion or funding allocation to address the Mohwinkles’ drainage concern was made at the meeting.
Separately, Ambulance Chief Krull presented the Butler County EMS Mutual Aid Agreement to the council. The agreement, as described by Chief Krull, provides that Butler County will supply paramedic or advanced care mutual aid, when available, for a flat rate of $100 per mutual-aid activation. The presentation was informational; the transcript does not record a separate council vote to approve or sign the agreement during this meeting.
Council asked staff to pursue an engineering assessment of the flooding and to keep the Mohwinkles informed of next steps.
