The council also approved a service agreement with Lee Nellis for a zoning code and subdivision regulation rewrite not to exceed $35,000 and approved routine claims, including a timely purchase of a used vehicle from Billion Auto Group for $18,185. City Treasurer Kelly Smith showed the vehicle to the council, saying it "is used, has 55,000 miles on it, it was owned by a Billion employee and well taken care of. It will be used for Code Enforcement but can also be used for anyone attending training or water school." The council approved the consent agenda by motion (recorded as Motion Passed 5:0). The minutes also list a service agreement with Northwestern Energy to install additional underground power at the rodeo grounds and pledged securities listings.
