City officials told the Three Forks City Council on Nov. 12 that the water project’s new well produced about 220 gallons per minute during a 72-hour test, a result staff described as favorable for system capacity.
Council members also heard that Well 6 had gone down because a pump wire developed a small nick that arced and disabled the pump. Staff said the company that installed the line, Red Tiger, has warranted the work and will address the repair.
The council recorded those operational updates; staff will continue monitoring performance and follow up on warranty repair scheduling.
