Three Forks council approves consent agenda including Harmon Construction contracts and library funding

The Three Forks City Council voted unanimously on Nov. 12 to approve a consent agenda that bundled numerous city claims, contract approvals and reimbursement draws tied to the water project.
The consent agenda included two ARPA Local Fiscal Recovery reimbursements for the water project (Draw #22: $5,731.38; Draw #23: $5,093.38), a $43,531.41 service agreement with Harmon Construction to remodel City Hall, and a $52,020.14 agreement with Harmon Construction for an addition at the Fire Hall. The council also approved a Gallatin County contract providing $85,679 for library operations and $20,874 for library building repairs.
Councilman Gene Townsend moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilman Ed Tharp seconded. The motion passed 5–0.
City Treasurer Kelly Smith told the council the city’s annual financial report had been completed and uploaded to the auditors, who will be on site the first week of December. City Clerk Crystal Turner noted several administrative items in the consent packet, including pledged securities reports and zoning and planning minutes.
The council’s vote formally authorizes the listed expenditures and contracts; items approved through the consent agenda will proceed under the terms contained in the respective agreements and reimbursement draws.
