County approves staffing change to create Operations Coordinator position

Assistant County Administrator Brad Wilcox told the board the department recently lost two employees with a combined 50 years of service. Wilcox said the new Operations Coordinator role will manage purchasing, leasing and risk management duties previously handled by the departed staff.
Commissioner Derek King moved approval of the staffing allocation change; Commissioner Kathy‑Sue Vette seconded. The roll-call vote was 7–0 in favor (Res.028-2021).
