During new business the Stormwater Utility Board discussed the length and complexity of the monthly reporting packages and the burden on staff who compile them. One board member suggested a shorter, highlight-driven format so members can more readily find issues that need attention rather than read full packets late at night.
Chairman Mark Feinberg proposed establishing an ad hoc committee to study and recommend improvements to the report section for FY25. He said he would solicit volunteers from the board; the proposal was not moved as a formal motion but the chair will assemble the group and work with Taylor Brewer’s team to implement possible changes.
Board members agreed the goal is to preserve critical detail while reducing routine burden on staff and making it easier for members and the public to see priority items. The board did not take a formal vote but directed the chair to proceed with recruiting committee members.
