At its April 27 meeting the Athens Village Board approved a broad set of administrative appointments, reappointments and routine financial items.
President Randall Decker’s committee rosters for Finance & Personnel, Fire & Police, Streets, Parks & Public Welfare, Public Property and Water & Sewer were approved by the board. The board reappointed Dean Dietrich of Weld Riley as Village Attorney and approved Tlusty, Kennedy and Glascock as Police Department counsel for one‑year terms; it also approved Hoffman Appraisal Service as assessor for a two‑year term.
Lisa Czech was reappointed Clerk/Treasurer for a two‑year term and was also appointed Weed Commissioner. The board approved appointments of Brock Guralski as Forester, Ben Brooks as Zoning Administrator and Robert Christensen as Building Inspector (one‑year terms).
