The approvals came early in the meeting after roll call. Trustee Thorson moved and Trustee Socha seconded approval of the payment register; the motion carried. On personnel, Trustee Thorson moved and Trustee Brodziski seconded a $1-per-hour wage increase for Nathan Heier in recognition of obtaining a commercial driver’s license. The motion carried.
The meeting record shows each action was moved, seconded and "carried"; the board did not read roll-call vote tallies into the minutes for these motions. The board adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
Meeting logistics noted by Clerk Lisa Czech included upcoming property re-valuation procedural dates: Open Book hearings are scheduled for Sept. 2 and the Board of Review is set for Sept. 17.
