Nebraska State Fair confirms four concerts, motorsports events and continues Talent Buyer RFP process

The Nebraska State Fair’s events team reported progress on next summer’s lineup, confirming four ticketed concerts for 2025 and several new attractions.
Events and Entertainment Director Karli Schutz told the board two dirt events and one motorsport event are confirmed, and staff expect the new Figure 8 Racing event to draw a different crowd to the fair. Schutz said ticket sales for the confirmed concerts are planned to begin in March.
Staff also reported the Talent Buyer Request for Proposals is under review. Schutz said staff are returning questions to bidders and will meet with Venue Works before making a final decision on a talent buyer. Free stages and local/regional entertainment programming will open in January, and the department plans to accept registrations for most events at the end of February.
No final contracts for remaining concerts were announced Dec. 20; staff said they are waiting for responses from offers already extended.
