Rinne to remain chair; Paulson vice-chair; Commissioner Lanoue announces resignation

The St. James Planning Commission reviewed terms for 2026 and determined that Bob Rinne will remain Chair and Jim Paulson will remain Vice-Chair. The decision is recorded in the minutes of the May 26 meeting.
Commission member Steve Lanoue announced he would be resigning because his family is moving; the minutes state the vacancy will be posted for applications and that the commission thanked Lanoue for his service.
The commission also reviewed its regular meeting dates for 2026 and confirmed they will remain on the last Monday of each month at 5:15 p.m. Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the Nov. 24, 2025 minutes (motion by Jacob Beckius, seconded by Steve Lanoue, recorded as 4-0).
A motion to adjourn at 5:26 p.m. carried 4-0 and the meeting was closed. The minutes were signed by Zoning Administrator Brianna Sanders.
