Board receives glamping inquiry and administrative updates; Selectmen move toward twice‑year tax billing

At the Feb. 2 meeting, Planning Board Secretary Louise B. Burns updated the board on administrative matters, including a written inquiry from Abhi Srv about a potential small‑scale glamping operation on U.S. Route 302.
Srv's letter asked whether placement and operation of five Airstream trailers as short‑term accommodations would be permitted, what permits would be required, and whether the use would classify as transient lodging or a campground. Burns said she provided Mr. Srv with Bartlett ordinances covering wastewater, outdoor lighting, fire protection, site plans, noise, lot size, frontage and signage, and advised him to contact the Selectmen and, if needed, the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Separately, Vicki Garland told the board that the Selectmen voted to move to twice‑yearly tax billing; the Selectmen are awaiting town counsel guidance on timing before implementation. The board also received emailed updates on state House and Senate bills and an application spreadsheet. The Planning Board scheduled a work session for Feb. 17 and continued business to the March 2 public meeting.
