During the Feb. 11 meeting, the Bartlett Conservation Commission noted that the Select Board has not yet responded to a proposed conservation easement donation offered by the Berry Company related to the Stillings grant.
Commission members said they have offered to meet with the Select Board to answer questions about the easement donation. Separately, commissioners reported that the Select Board plans either to include funds for the Conservation Fund in the town budget or to place a warrant article before Town Meeting to provide those funds; the minutes did not list a dollar amount or state which option is more likely.
The commission did not record a formal decision in the minutes but said it was available to meet with the Select Board to clarify the easement and funding options.
