The town has accepted a donated public easement at Stillings Grant from the Berry Company, the Bartlett Conservation Commission noted on Oct. 14.
Commissioners discussed whether to invest time and funds to mark the easement’s boundary to clarify public access. There was consensus to pursue signage and boundary delineation after nearby construction at the access is finished, with a possible implementation in the spring. The commission asked that Chris Fithian contact Alec Tarberry about the Berry Company’s promise to create a welcome sign for the easement.
The commission recorded an action to make a plan to delineate the boundaries of the whole easement (new and old) before leaf‑out next spring; no budget or installation date was set at the meeting.
