Phillips Corporation to fund waterlines for five River Road properties; Shenandoah schedules Town Code public hearing

Town Manager Charlie Jenkins told the Shenandoah Town Council on June 9 that Phillips Corporation will fund waterline installations for five properties on River Road.
Jenkins reported the town crew has already replaced a waterline near Morrison Lane and repaired leaks on Virginia Avenue and Sixth Street, and he said he expects the Phillips-funded installations to address service needs for the affected River Road properties.
Jenkins also announced the town received a new Town Code book and that a public hearing will be held the last week of July to consider adoption of Town Code revisions.
Council members heard these updates during the Town Manager report and did not take formal votes on the matters during the June 9 meeting.
