At its Sept. 9 meeting the Town of Lowell board approved the Town and County Road Aids Project Questionnaire for submission to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for Mud Lake Road and adopted Resolution 2025-5 authorizing the submission.
Clerk Kim Mann presented the questionnaire and the accompanying resolution. Supervisor Greg Caine moved to approve submission and the resolution; Supervisor David Huebner seconded and the motion carried, 3-yeas, 0-nays.
The board also reviewed a draft of Resolution 2025-6 to establish special weight limits on town roads. Clerk Mann said Eric Larson reviewed and revised the resolution language to reflect local road conditions and state statutes. Supervisor Caine moved to adopt Resolution 2025-6 as revised; Supervisor Huebner seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Both actions were recorded as formal town resolutions; the board did not specify in the minutes the dollar amounts associated with the Road Aids submission. The Well Road/Shaw Creek Bridge project was discussed but tabled until the October meeting.
