Luck, Wis. — At its Feb. 12 meeting the Luck Village Board approved routine consent items and a set of permits and licenses affecting local businesses and a community event.
The board approved the consent agenda on a motion by Committee member Sonja Jensen, seconded by Committee member Jerry Kruse; the consent agenda included the Jan. 8 and Jan. 22, 2025 minutes, checks and vouchers for January, and operator licenses for Nathaniel Karge (Waynes), Shawna Smith (Waynes), Hanna Songas (Lucky 7) and Lilyan Hirte (Lucky 7).
Separately, the board approved a sign permit for Brothers Insurance at 112 S. Main Street on a motion by Jensen and second by Mark Beidleman; the minutes report the permit passed 'all in favor — aye; carried.'
The board also approved a special vendor license and picnic license for Northwestern Municipal Ambulance to host the Annual Smelt Fry on April 5, 2025, beginning at 3:00 p.m.; the motion was made by Bridget Cleary and seconded by Mark Beidleman and recorded as carried.
