The Luck Village Board moved into a closed session on Aug. 14 to discuss the Teamsters Union Local 662 annual contract and returned to open session without taking action.
Chair Sonja Jensen made a motion, seconded by Committee member Ron Steen, to enter closed session to discuss the Teamsters Union Local 662 annual contract as recommended by the Finance Board. The board held a roll-call vote for the closed session; the minutes record that Mark Beidleman was absent for the closed session.
After the closed session the board reconvened in open session on a motion by Committee member Stephanie Mueller and Committee member Jerry Kruse. The minutes explicitly state "no action taken" following the closed-session discussion. The minutes do not disclose the content of closed-session deliberations or any proposed contract language.
Because the minutes record no substantive outcome, the Teamsters contract remains under consideration; the board did not document a vote, agreement or direction in the public minutes.
The meeting adjourned following the open-session return and other closing business.
