The board adopted a proclamation celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Pitt County Council on Aging after a request relayed by the town manager. The board also approved the town’s monthly financial report.
All votes on these items were unanimous; staff said the audit contract increase is budgeted and that the town remains up‑to‑date with state reporting requirements.
