Board members said county worker Brent Greg rolled his county truck during a recent storm; the minutes say he suffered only bruising and there were no HAZMAT issues. The board thanked Brent and temporary worker Mike Daleiden for covering township road duties while the town seeks a permanent replacement.
The minutes record that two township trucks—the Tandem (221) and the Peterbilt (222)—are in need of repair and that Chairman Jerry Duden has begun looking for replacement options. Separately, the township has been approved for Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funds totaling approximately $46,000 to be applied toward work on Pine Creek Hill.
No formal vote to expend funds or to purchase new equipment was recorded at the meeting; the LRIP approval was described as an external funding allocation that will be applied to the Pine Creek Hill project.
