The Town of Maiden Rock Board of Supervisors approved routine administrative items at its monthly meeting on Nov. 10, including the October minutes and the October treasurer's report.
Chairman Jerry F. Duden called the meeting to order at 6:18 p.m., and after roll call the board voted unanimously to accept the minutes and the treasurer's report. The motions to accept the minutes and the treasurer's report were both made by Supervisor John Danneker; both carried with all in favor.
Clerk/Treasurer Carla R. Schuster reported several operational matters: a leaking toilet in the women’s bathroom that she asked the board to address; a request to the Hiawatha National Bank for a town debit card with a suggested $500 limit for security reasons; and a recommendation to purchase an Acrobat Pro subscription to enable PDF editing and related document tasks. Supervisor John Danneker moved to approve the Acrobat Pro subscription, with Supervisor Allen White seconding; the motion passed unanimously. The subscription cost was noted as approximately $240 per year.
The clerk also mentioned a Wisconsin Elections Commission grant opportunity offering up to $600 to help municipalities transition to a wi.gov email; the board asked the clerk to follow up with the county to determine whether the county recommends applying.
The board reviewed time cards and found no concerns. The meeting proceeded to other agenda items and adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
