The Board of Reorganized Kirbyville School District No. 6 of Taney County, Missouri met Sept. 12, 2024, and approved several administrative and financial actions before entering executive session on personnel and student matters.
Chair Tom Motley called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m. Board member Trula Plummer moved to adopt the agenda as presented; board member Rebecca Shrope seconded. The motion carried 4-0.
In a finance action, board member Rebecca Shrope moved to open an account at Branson Bank and place maturing Branson Bank certificates of deposit in the new account in accordance with district guidance labeled in the minutes as DED (Disposition of Unbudgeted Revenue) and DFA (Revenue from Investments/use of Surplus Funds). Trula Plummer seconded; the motion carried with three votes in favor and one abstention (Ryan Sanders abstained from discussion and vote).
