The Exeter Regional Cooperative School District board approved several formal actions following the public hearing.
A motion from board member Bob Hall to accept a $6,000 donation from the Arts in Action charitable foundation for Exeter High School passed by voice vote after a second; the board thanked the donor and moved on to current-year financial items.
The board also voted to accept four updated policies and withdraw two older policies as recommended by the policy committee; the motion carried unanimously.
Finally, after discussion the board voted to move the FY26 operating budget and related warrant articles to the deliberative session. Board members cited the constrained nature of the operating budget and the limited ability to reduce fixed contractual costs when explaining the vote.
Formal outcomes recorded in the meeting packet and on the SAU website will be posted after signatures and processing.
