Donations and equipment: The board accepted a gift to purchase four microphones, stands and clips for the Exeter High School choir not to exceed $3,000, following board policy on accepting donations above $500.
Coaches and athletics: The board approved the CMS coaching nominations and discussed transportation constraints for athletics caused by a shortage of bus drivers. Administrators said coach and parent transport is being used as an interim measure while staff work on parent communications and longer-term budgeted solutions such as added vans.
Student meals and budget: The board voted to use district funds (estimated around $3,000) to cover the gap between reduced-price and full-price school lunches for families in the reduced category next year; finance staff said this would reduce administrative burden and better support families.
Nonpublic and adjournment: The board voted to enter nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3 II; after reconvening, it approved superintendent recommendations and adjourned the meeting.
