Knob Noster aldermen approve master services agreement, buy road sprayer and move to closed session

The Knob Noster Board of Aldermen on Feb. 5 approved an ordinance authorizing the city administrator and city clerk to execute a master services agreement with Marvin Wesley, LLC, and separately approved purchasing a cordless vehicle-mounted sprayer for $3,962.40.
Alderman Charrette moved passage of Bill No. 020326-B to authorize the master services agreement; Alderman Kleoppel seconded the second reading. After a roll call vote—Aldermen Thering, Smith, Charrette, Kleoppel and Stauffer-Baum voted aye—the bill passed 5-0 and was assigned Ordinance No. 934.
Earlier in the meeting the board considered bids for equipment to pre-treat roads ahead of icy conditions. Alderman Stauffer-Baum moved to purchase Option 2, a Buyers Products cordless vehicle-mounted sprayer, from Key Hydraulics for $3,962.40; Alderman Thering seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
At 6:28 p.m. Alderman Kleoppel moved—and Alderman Thering seconded—to go into closed session under the Revised Statutes of Missouri Section 610.021, paragraphs 3 (personnel) and 9 (preparation for contract negotiations). The roll call vote was 5-0 in favor.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 7:01 p.m. by Alderman Kleoppel, seconded by Alderman Stauffer-Baum, which passed unanimously.
