President Kevin Goebel presided over the Village of Eden Board's Nov. 18 regular meeting, where the board unanimously adopted the 2026 budget and approved a series of routine consent items.
Board member Henry Guell moved to approve the budget as explained at the prior budget hearing; board member Matt Bonen seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The board also approved minutes from the Oct. 21 meeting (moved by Matt Bonen; seconded by Henry Guell), the treasurer's report (moved by Shea Stahl; seconded by Jay Baumhardt), payment of bills (moved by Matt Bonen; seconded by Henry Guell), temporary borrowing (moved by Henry Guell; seconded by Matt Bonen), and the building inspection report (moved by Shea Stahl; seconded by Matt Bonen). Each motion was recorded as carried unanimously.
