Eagle River finance committee recommends payment of April city and golf course bills

The Eagle River Finance Committee on May 12 recommended that City Council approve payment of the City and Eagle River Golf Course accounts payable presented for April.
Treasurer Cory Hoffmann told the committee the city and golf course bank accounts were reconciled through April 30, 2026, and provided budget reports and 2025–2026 comparisons. Hoffmann also detailed transaction breakdowns for the 2026 Capital Improvement Loan and the 2025 GO Promissory Note that were included in the packet presented to the committee.
After the review, Committee member Jerry Burkett moved to recommend payment of the presented City and Golf Course payables to City Council; Committee member Washelesky seconded the motion. The motion carried on a roll call vote, unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting, Committee member Washelesky moved and Dan Dumas seconded approval of the Finance Committee minutes from April 14, 2026; that motion also carried unanimously. The committee then voted, on a motion by Kim Schaffer seconded by Washelesky, to adjourn at 5:37 p.m.
The committee's recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for final approval. No late payments or penalties were reported at the meeting, and no additional monthly updates were provided.
