The Sharon Public Library Board of Trustees approved draft minutes from March and a package of six policies during its regular meeting on April 15, 2026, at the library on 1 School Street.
Trustee Cheryl Weinstein called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. The board voted by consensus to approve the March 18 and March 27, 2026 minutes. The board then considered and approved six written policies as presented: Library Parking; Local Authors; Closing; FY2027 Closing Schedule; Public Announcement; and Disposition of Surplus Materials, Supplies and Equipment. Each policy motion was moved by Trustee Sarah Windman and seconded by Trustee Carolyn Weeks and passed unanimously.
The approvals followed package materials distributed in the board packet. The motions were procedural and did not include recorded roll-call vote details beyond the meeting note that each motion “passed unanimously.” The board’s membership present for votes was Cheryl Rosenfeld, Carolyn Weeks, Cheryl Weinstein and Sarah Windman; two trustees were listed as absent.
Olga Volson, the town Finance Committee liaison, was recognized and thanked by trustees at the start of the meeting; trustees noted this was her last meeting as liaison. The trustees set their next regular meeting for May 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting packet listed supporting documents including the draft minutes, FY2026 finance and state-aid expenditure reports, and the April director’s report.
