Florio said the ADU would be sited on existing impervious surface and would require approximately 175 square feet of disturbance in the outer portion of the 100-foot wetland buffer. Erosion controls proposed include an 18-inch crushed-stone border, silt sock with compost, and staking; runoff from the addition will connect to existing downspouts and drain away from the wetland buffer.
Commissioners praised the additions to the plan and voted to close the hearing and issue a Negative Determination for the project. The Conservation Administrator will inspect erosion controls before construction begins. The motion passed unanimously (6-0-0).
