Lehman said Renaissance Historic Exteriors will inspect the clay tile roof on Oct. 10 to locate the source of a leak; NAMI has replaced a small section of ductwork to open attic access. Zander Solutions epoxy‑sealed a concrete wall crack in the Children's Area and the library will schedule drywall and carpet work to complete repairs. Lehman also noted the library's ghost‑hunting kit received coverage in the Washington Post (Sept. 24) and was the cover story of the Oct. 7 Wisconsin State Journal.
Program updates included a new adult Spanish‑language collection to be displayed at a Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon and mariachi performance on Oct. 14, a Día de los Muertos event on Nov. 1, Wisconsin Science Festival children's activities and a teen Chocolate Party on Oct. 18.
No council action was required on the report.
