Ladue council unanimously approves resubdivision, engineering amendment, MICDS food-truck permit and routine business

At its Sept. 16 meeting Ladue's council approved Bill 2369 (resubdivision), adopted Resolution 2024-44 to amend an HR Green engineering work order for culvert work, approved a MICDS special-event permit for more than seven food trucks, accepted routine financial reports, authorized surplus IT equipment destruction, appointed an alternate to the Architectural Review Board, and entered closed session on litigation.
The Ladue City Council on Sept. 16 approved a package of routine and project-related items, voting unanimously on each.
Land use and engineering: The council approved Bill No. 2369, the resubdivision titled "Resubdivision of Part 5 of Blackwell Estate Partition," after a second reading and a roll-call vote that resulted in five ayes. The council also adopted Resolution No. 2024-44, amending Work Order #2 with engineering consultant HR Green to provide services related to Clayton Road culvert replacement and hydrologic calculations for four culverts.
Events and permits: Sarah Keen of MICDS sought approval for a Sept. 27 homecoming kickoff expected to draw 500–700 attendees and involve ten food trucks (six already approved, four pending); the council approved the special-event permit to allow more than seven food trucks.
Finance, appointments and administration: The council reviewed and ordered on file several August 2024 financial reports (vouchers, collector's report, treasurer's report, cash flow summary, delinquent real estate tax report and investments), approved vouchers for payment, declared listed IT equipment surplus and authorized its destruction, and approved the appointment of Mary Huelsmann as an alternate to the Architectural Review Board for a one-year term.
Closed session and adjournment: Council voted unanimously to enter closed session under RSMo 610.021(1) to discuss litigation and returned to open session at 5:27 p.m.; the meeting adjourned at 5:27 p.m.
What was not included: No substantial debate or recorded dissent accompanied the votes; Bill 2335 (marijuana zoning amendments) was continued to the November meeting.
