At its June 9 meeting the Dinosaur Town Council unanimously renewed the business license for Dino Treats and addressed a related sewer connection problem.
Council reviewed whether the property at issue was legally residential or commercial and confirmed prior council approvals dating to 2019 that established the location for commercial operation. Jeff Harrington moved to approve the renewal; Nicole Ratcliff seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Separately, staff reported that Dino Treats and a neighboring property share a sewer connection that predates current code. The council agreed to waive the sewer tap fee and to provide the sewer tap itself, while the business owner must install a separate sewer line and pay for trenching and plumbing. The town emphasized it will not fund the entire sewer installation.
