Council accepts amended development agreement and compliance reports for PlayStreetDefco and Grand Trump Storage

Staff added the amendment followed a negotiated revamp of the timeline and that the amended agreement had been approved internally earlier in February.
On a separate compliance item, staff reported Grand Trump Storage remains in compliance with its statement of benefits and employment estimates, noting salaries were a bit higher than earlier projections and there are a few plan‑commission follow‑ups under review. Council moved to accept the PlayStreetDefco CF1B compliance and the Grand Trump Storage compliance and recorded ayes.
Council acknowledged the site’s history of failed proposals and emphasized ongoing monitoring of plan‑commission follow‑ups and infrastructure extensions.
