Stoddard board approves Gould House repairs, staining projects and delays website cutover

The Stoddard selectmen on March 23 approved several operations and maintenance items, including a $1,500 proposal to repair the front door of the historic Gould House and up to $500 for pest-related cleaning of the building’s upper floors. The board approved staining projects for the transfer station building ($970) and fence ($1,000). Officials also reported minor glitches in the new town website conversion and delayed the cutover until March 31, after the scheduled public hearing, so staff can resolve issues.
The board established a need for a clear public process for residents to report road issues and approved a $127 plan to give the Trustees of the Trust Funds remote VPN access to a town desktop with Microsoft Office so trustees have Excel by July.
