Trustees outline website migration, note gaps in historical records

At the March 17 meeting, Stoddard trustees reviewed the town’s transition to a new website vendor and agreed on a plan to train trustees on document uploading while trying to locate missing historical records.
David Lesser described the migration work and said Charlotte Lesser and Bob Maden have spent substantial time converting agendas and minutes to PDF and preparing materials for the new CivicPlus site. David asked that Maureen Meyer be trained so trustees can share upload responsibilities; Maureen and Charlotte scheduled a Zoom training for March 20. David also suggested adding the trustees’ investment policy and fund criteria to the new site.
The trustees identified gaps in the online archive for 2017 and 2018. Terri LaRoche recommended contacting Michelle Pong to determine whether paper copies exist, noting that files missing from the old site may not be transitioned automatically. The trustees discussed rotating who uploads documents so multiple people retain the skill.
Next steps: Maureen Meyer and Charlotte Lesser will meet on March 20 for training; David Lesser will contact Michelle Pong about missing records and the trustees will decide whether to schedule another meeting to resolve archival gaps.
