The Town of Stoddard Planning Board announced on March 10 that four seats on the board are open in the upcoming election cycle: two one-year seats, one one-year seat to finish a three-year term, and one two-year seat.
The board said declarations will be accepted March 26–April 3, 2026; anyone filing on the final day, April 3, must complete paperwork in person at Town Hall that day. The board also noted a public meeting rescheduled for March 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall and a Southwestern Regional Planning Board networking meeting on March 31 that will be limited to three town members to avoid a quorum.
The announcement was made as part of routine meeting business; no votes were required.
