Superintendent Brad LaCroix recommended advertising for a 5:00 p.m. early start on March 12 so the board could convene an executive session under W.S. 16‑4‑405(ii) to discuss administrators’ evaluations and contracts. Trustee Dana Gordon moved to approve advertising for the early start and Trustee Tyler Mills seconded; the minutes record the motion carried.
Chairman Dana Mann‑Tavegia also asked that the board complete a Board Self‑Evaluation and that the evaluation be discussed at the April 9 meeting. In discussion items, trustees debated dismissal times for activities not governed by the Wyoming High School Activities Association to better support teacher contact time, and the board considered a possible change for the high school from its current block schedule to a seven‑period day.
