Northmoor board approves purchase of speed bumps, hears Durango warranty issue and adjourns

The action item was recorded with a motion and roll call showing four ayes and no nays. The meeting record notes Platte County issued two speeding tickets recently on 50th Terrace, which Alderman Joe Harris cited during the discussion.
Mayor Lynda Wilson also reported the city’s planned extended-warranty purchase for a Durango was blocked after the vendor ran the vehicle identification number and determined the vehicle was a police vehicle; the vendor would not allow sale of the warranty. The Durango remains inoperable despite attempted repairs, and Mayor Wilson said she will continue working on resolving the matter.
A motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Joe Harris, seconded by Alderman John Butner; roll call was 4 ayes, 0 nays and the meeting ended.
