Summary

Tom, a land-use official, told the committee that 455–465 Middlefield Street remains out of compliance following an unsuccessful Zoning Board of Appeals challenge. Tom said he has not received verification that stoves and shower units were removed from illegally converted apartments and will resend communications to the owner's attorney.
Tom said the issue involves illegal units in an industrial building and that previous cease-and-desist steps had been taken. He said he will raise the matter with Donna Parker and the state's attorney’s office as appropriate while continuing outreach to the owner's attorney.
No committee vote was taken; staff will report back when the state's attorney or owner responds.
