Staff and counsel advised that individual commissioners should not comment publicly about the enforcement matter and that media requests should be directed to the city attorney, who will be the formal spokesperson while enforcement and legal review continue. "If anything or someone approaches you ... I would just not say anything. Contact me or contact Chris Ford, the city attorney, because he's gonna be the spokesperson moving forward on this," staff said.
No further enforcement action was decided at the meeting; staff said they are coordinating next steps with the city attorney.
