Governor Wentworth Regional School Board approves two teacher hires and one out-of-district enrollment

The Governor Wentworth Regional School Board voted Aug. 18 to accept two teaching nominations and to approve an out-of-district student enrollment.
Board members approved the superintendent's nominations of Michelle Posadas and Nicole Beck as 100% teachers for the 2025–2026 school year, both listed as Track 3/Step 13 with an annual salary shown in the minutes as $82,589. The motion to accept the nominations was moved by Mary Schillereff and seconded by Dr. Elizabeth Sheckler; the minutes record a unanimous vote in favor by the nine members present (Tom Bickford; Kirsten Burke; Brodie Deshaies; Kayla Hewitt; Dr. James Manning; Mary Schillereff; Dr. Elizabeth Sheckler; Danielle Van Dusen; Nate Williams).
The board also approved the enrollment of Ash Osorio, of Wakefield, N.H., at Kingswood Regional High School for the 2025–2026 school year at the Spaulding High School tuition rate. That motion was moved by Kirsten Burke, seconded by Mary Schillereff, and carried unanimously.
These votes were recorded in the meeting minutes following a non-public session held under RSA 91-A:3, II (b) and (c) to discuss personnel and student matters. The public minutes note only that those matters were discussed and do not provide additional detail on the non-public deliberations.
The board returned to public session at 6:40 p.m. and later adjourned at 8:49 p.m.
