Epping board accepts Lamprey River signs from Great Bay Watershed and approves Town Hall painting contract

The Epping Board of Selectmen on April 13 accepted a Great Bay Watershed Sign Acceptance Agreement to install and maintain three signs related to the Lamprey River at locations behind Town Hall, at Mary Folsom Blair Park and at the Tilton Conservation Area.
Town Administrator Jake T. Roger explained the sign program and the proposed sign locations. The board indicated consensus to accept the agreement and recorded the action as carried 4‑0.
Separately, the board approved Purchase Order #380 to CertaPro for $15,758.82 to paint Town Hall trim, the ramp, louvers and clock tower panels and to repair a gutter that has been creating ice on the walkway. "The gutter needs to be fixed as it drips and creates ice on the walkway. CertaPro will do the painting and have the gutter fixed while the lift is here," Roger said. Selectman Tom Gauthier moved the PO and Selectman Cliff Cray seconded; the motion carried 4‑0.
The board also approved a range of routine consent calendar items including payroll, accounts payable and assorted veteran and property tax actions.
